KYR Celebrates Women’s History Month

What would you say about the importance of Women’s History Month in the real estate industry across Kentucky?

Be kind to one another. There’s no need for competition that undermines, lift each other up instead. Advocate for your peers, serve with humility, and lead with both boldness and grace.

What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment in the industry?

Being named Chair of the Kentucky Real Estate Commission, by my peers.

What advice would you give to others who want to explore a career in real estate?

Remember, success is not just about reaching the top but about bringing others along with you. Never forget the stories that shaped you, and embrace the journey ahead with purpose and confidence.

Africian Proverb- if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go further go together.

Please tell us anything additional that you feel has been impactful or influenced you during your time in real estate.

My brother is a huge influencer to me during my Real Estate Career. He retired from the Marines and Real Estate has been his 2nd career. He helped me early on in my career. My son has been a huge impact on my real estate business. He got his real estate license at 18 years old and has been in the business approx 4 years now. He’s also licensed in Indiana and KY.  My sons girlfriend Kiara Harriott is also a Realtor in our brokerage and we are a great Real Estate Trio. I think working in in hand with all the different associations and governmental bodies is the most important thing we can do to impact our real estate careers.
